Matt is an experienced investor relations and finance professional with over 20 years of expertise. He has held leadership roles as the Investor Relations Officer (IRO) at GameStop and Academy Sports + Outdoors. In addition to managing the full range of IR responsibilities (quarterly earnings, NDRs, targeting, investor days), he has successfully crafted and communicated key messages to the Street regarding business transformation, strategic growth initiatives, crisis communication, and corporate responsibility.

Throughout his career, Matt has developed and maintained strong relationships with sell-side analysts, portfolio managers, bankers, and ratings agency analysts by consistently providing timely, accurate, and transparent information, all in an effort to drive long-term stakeholder value.

Matt holds a BBA in Finance from Texas Tech University.
